VANESSA MCCARTHY  BIO:

Vanessa has always been interested in body and mind. After 2 years in medical school, a few years of hip-hop, and a Master of graphic design, she discovered yoga in NY early 2000, a natural meeting point between her taste for movement and a philosophy of life that she adopts as a teenager with Buddhism.
Back in France in 2004, a change of direction, she puts her overflowing and communicative energy at the service of yoga teaching. Her fiery temperament combined with a very solid 3 years teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (EFAY) have made her one of the most recognized Ashtanga teachers in France. Vanessa believes in the potential of all and she enthusiastically shares her knowledge that she continues tirelessly to deepen through the texts, the practice, her own research and in contact with the “seniors” of Ashtanga, heirs of the method (Darby, Garrigues, Maehle … etc)
