Vinyasa, Acroyoga and
yoga nidra retreat
with Francesca Maniglio and Lena Pellen

AUGUST 10 – 17, 2019

Vinyasa, Acroyoga and yoga nidra retreat
A retreat with Francesca Maniglio – Lena Pellen

RETREAT DETAILS

We will venture in a self-journey, allowing, recognizing what emerges, recognizing the un-necessary, letting go, disconnecting from the heavy load we carry on our shoulders daily that prevents us to just be. The over emotionalized reactivism of the conscious mind stands between the individual and the true peace and harmony he seeks, as well as creating blockages and barriers to his ability to understanding life as it unfolds. We must begin within: the awakening of your self to yourself. No prior yoga experience is required. All levels welcome. Awakening the body, the Re-connect to the self.

We strive for an identical goal of peace, harmony, and love.

The place is here, the time is now. Join us. Today.

Each year she hosts and organizes workshops, courses for yoga teachers and intensive courses with highly qualified international teachers. The association YIS, active in the area since 2007, has distinguished itself over the years as an important international yoga center, a meeting point of multiple experiences, opened to different practices deepened over time.

With a genuine love for teaching and for yoga, she teaches with enthusiasm, generosity, commitment and devotion. She is grateful to the masters with whom she had the privilege to study (John Scott, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, BNS Iyengar, Manju Jois, Mark Darby, David Swenson, David Williams, Lino Miele, Louise Ellis, Tina Pizzimenti, Sharon Gannon and David Life), and she is joyful for the practice’s sublime benefits.

She graduated in philosophy at the University of Milan. After degree she studies and works as a filmmaker in NYC for 5 years. While living in NYC, she meets yoga in an open class held by David Life, founder and director with Sharon Gannon, of the Jivamukti yoga school & method.

In 2006 she studies and graduates in Mysore, India, under the leadership of BNS Iyengar in Ashtanga Yoga and Pranayama. In 2014 she completes the Teacher Training in Ashtanga Yoga by John Scott.

Lena BIO:

In 2003, while preparing her master in sports, health, and wellness at Toulouse (South-France), Léna discovers Ashtanga Yoga with one of the first students of Pattabhi Jois, Serge Fonteneau, a yoga teacher in Ariege. This decisive encounter has brought Léna on the path of Ashtanga Yoga. After years of devoted training with Serge, she leaves for Mysore to follow a Sheshadri training for 2 months at the “Mysore Mandala Yoga Shala” in 2007. On her return, Léna starts teaching yoga in Ariege and continues to expand her knowledge with others teachers.

In 2009, she discovers Acro yoga, a playful mixture of acrobatics, yoga and Thai massage, resonating with her simple and generous nature. She plans to participate in the Acroyoga teacher training programme that starts in July 2013 in Barcelona.
