Master Yang has 50 years of experience in Qigong, Taoist health systems and various martial arts that form the basis of his unique system, Calligraphy Health, which can teach people how to generate internal power through breathing, postures and mental focus. Master Yang’s teaching comes from family who lineage is of the bodyguards of the Emperor of China for hundreds of years. He was also trained in both the Taoist Wudang and the Buddhist Shaolin temples. Master Yang teaches his system internationally.
Master Yang says “Through my teachings and systems you will gain access to the deepest philosophies and movements of the East combined with the necessities and applications of the West.”
The ‘Calligraphy Health’ System of Master Yang works with 3-dimensional movements that help release muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. Specialising in increasing oxygen flow through the body. The end result is a calm and grounded person with happiness coming from inside.
It is a fusion of four long established traditions. Each of these contributes to forge a distinctive synthesis that is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their physical health, strengthen their psychological resilience and cultivate their internal energetic reserves.
1 The principles of Tai Chi to bring smooth effortless movement
2 The principles of Chinese Qigong to bring an understanding of internal energy and a focus on your energetic centre (Dantian)
3 The postures of Indian Yoga to bring a physiological structure and form to the movements
4 The technique of Chinese calligraphy to bring a 3 dimensional flow without thinking to the movements that is both intuitive and graceful
