Reafresh, Revive and Refine Yoga Retreat with Katy
Join Katy for her second visit to the wonderful yoga in salento where she will be running her latest Refesh, Revive and Refine retreat. This retreat has been carefully created to help you reconnect with your practice, expand your knowledge and refine your asana technique. Over the week Katy will guide you through a daily 2 hour morning practice followed by a 2-3 hour evening workshop session to focusing on a specific area of your practice.
This retreat is open to ALL, be you new to the practice or a seasoned practitioner. All that is required is a genuine interest in the yoga practice.
Schedule:
Saturday 31st of August:
Arrival Day and light evening practice to shake off the travel
cobwebs. Time to be confirmed!
Sunday 1st of September:
8-10 am Vinyasa and Pranayama practice.
4-7pm Workshop:
Breaking down Surya Namaskar and refining the Vinyasa, breathe and
asanas of the Sun Salutation.
Monday:
8-10 am Vinyasa and Pranayama practice.
4-7pm Workshop:
Exploring the alignment of the fundamental Standing postures in Vinyasa.
Tuesday:
8-10 am Vinyasa and Pranayama practice
4-7pm Workshop. Exploring hip mobility and flexibility through a yoga practice.
Wednesday
Rest day due to the intensity of the retreat.
Thursday:
8-10 am Vinyasa and Pranayama practice
4-7pm Workshop – Back bending fundamentals for safe and effective practice.
Friday:
8-10 am Vinyasa and Pranayama practice
4-7pm Workshop. Head Standing 101.
Saturday:
Closing practice
Katy Scherer – BIO:
Katy is an international yoga teacher, owner of a yoga studio, blogger, youtuber and Lululemon ambassador based in Bonn, Germany. After completing his RYT 200 Hour training with seasonal Yoga in Glasgow, his RYT 300 with Tribe in Austria his Regulatory training with the incredible David Swenson established his own yoga hall The Vinyasa People in Bonn, Germany. Katy teaches a mix of vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin to create a deep, dynamic and fun practice. She welcomes all students and celebrates all forms of diversity that come together to practice yoga.
